The Mini-Grants for Teachers Program provides an opportunity for enriching academic experiences for students as well as recognize and reward outstanding teachers in the Coatesville Area School District.
The Education Foundation will contribute substantial amounts to District teachers for mini-grants. Educators will have opportunities each year to submit applications to receive funding.
The program supports innovative approaches and creative ideas by teachers. Its purpose is to support teachers who have ideas for enriching the curriculum or providing students with additional learning experiences. The program enables the purchase of special materials or resources for the classroom, which are not allocated in school budgets. Mini-Grants can support service-oriented projects identified by a teacher’s students as activities they would like to perform to benefit their school, neighborhood, or greater community.
