Coatesville Area School District AFJROTC program

Keep the CASD AFJROTC flying high!

Our goal was reached!

“The ROTC program instilled in me the leadership and unselfish commitment to community that allowed me to honorable serve my nation as a combat medic in the United States Army. I have lost many friends and have seen the tragedy of war. It is only through commitment, dedication and unselfish service that future wars can be overted. All of this qualities are taught by the Coatesville AFJROTC. While I went on to serve my country, one of my best friends Tony Detitta also benefited from the AFJROTC program by obtaining a full paid scholarship to Penn State. The AFJROTC is extremely important toward buliding charcater and commitment. The loss to the program is a devestating blow to the entire community, not only by losing future leaders of our military, but indeed by deperving those of an education who might not otherwise get a chance. Please show your support for your community and it’s children.”
- Statement by Joe Harkins, CASD AFJROTC Alumni
